I’ve found a stack of fab vintage sewing patterns around various shops, treated myself to a pair of shoes and had a lovely time. You live in a beautiful part of the world. Most years, Easter Sunday finds us donning beanies and scarves for the Easter Egg Hunt.

Jodiebodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11377052537742885631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4573422992082776289.post-2132829104828387532018-04-03T13:14:56.161+10:002018-04-03T13:14:56.161+10:00Glad to hear that your farmers market stall went w...Glad to hear that your farmers market stall went well. Not surprising though with your amazing looking produce and beautiful blooms.
Lots going on around here - following my passion around food and eating, planning on dipping my toe back into work after a long time off with the kiddos (and doing it online rather than a job, so tackling something else new there at the same time) and also just found out I got a plot at my local community garden. Feeling like a lot all at once after not much for a little while - must be something in the air or the planets or some such.
Lovely to hear your weekly news and enjoy your beautiful pictures.
Cheers,
LauraGrow Gather Enjoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05069999391136930106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4573422992082776289.post-56037498594033683392018-04-03T13:12:29.342+10:002018-04-03T13:12:29.342+10:00Hello gorgeous Kate! I've been reading your blog for more years than I care to think about but I tend to just pop now and again and catch up on all the posts I've missed since I last visited, and I'm so glad you are continuing with your bloggy yumminess. I love seeing the seasons down there through your eyes, I don't find them at all repetitive, in fact I love seeing the same things happen year after year as well as the constant changes. Please don't ever change! I love your market stall, how lovely it must be to have this so close to home.
Here we are considering the work we need to do to start an orchard this year on our 5 acres, our place was a flower farm a few years ago and seeing your beautiful flowers makes me want to also plant millions of them! Sending big hugs, as always, your way.
Mrs Homespunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16415069735707292502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4573422992082776289.post-68336236063538725422018-04-03T10:43:41.824+10:002018-04-03T10:43:41.824+10:00Look at your gorgeous bunches of flowers, how divi...Look at your gorgeous bunches of flowers, how divine! Back when I grew more flowers than veggies in my garden, I would pick flowers and herbs and make little tussie mussies. I'd plonk them in a bucket of water and sit them on the staffroom table at school where I worked then. Later, I'd see them displayed in old jam jars or coffee mugs on teachers' desks. Nothing like flowers! Life is not always organized and just so. Thank you for your family's willingness to share their life with all of us. Seeing your post in my feed always makes me smile, even before I read it. Day tempertures of just 5 degrees and so much rain, that the country roads are flooding. However, today we spent the day as a family, eating a wonderful lamb roast lunch cooked by my son, while sharing cuddles with my 12 week old grandson, simple perfect pleasures. The 11 yo has Monday off - she rides tomorrow and will spend some time with her new pony in the paddock for pony/rider bonding each day of the 4 day weekend. She was out with her in the pouring rain yesterday. I am trying to imagine spring, it's still very cold here in Eastern Ontario. A few years ago I made the same promise to walk each day. I'm still loving walking and haven't yet missed a day. I've finally learnt that offering myself no room for excuses is the very best way to make a habit. I do wonder why it has taken me almost 40 years to learn this about myself but I love that I've got here ;-)Small Cataloguehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04967883601419963708noreply@blogger.com
