twentieth

Hello lovelies,

I'm afraid I can't chat tonight as I am deep, deep in pickled cucumber and pickled bean land.

Measuring, stuffing, sterilising, chopping, cooking, pouring, sealing.

I hope you understand.

And I hope you can tell me which land you are deeply immersed in right now?

Big vinegary love,

Kate

  1. Isn't it funny how we can get so immersed in what we do. I know I have a tendency to and have to watch myself. I'm just emerging from a deep de-clutter of my home, was inspired by KonMari (though as she doesn't have children, it doesn't easily translate) however I've purged and purged and tomorrow 20 boxes of books are leaving my home. So just coming out of de-clutter land

I'm about to immerse myself into knitting pattern designing land, although after a relaxing hot shower I might just read a book instead :-)

    1. That's so cool Sarah, I can't wait to see your knitting pattern. I keep thinking that it would be fun to design something but then the maths scares me off. xx

  4. Waiting for the forecasted snow to arrive here. Funny thing, I dreamed of pickle making last night, with frozen ground here, it must have come from your previous post about so many cucumbers.lol Careful not to pickle yourself while you are at it!

  8. Good luck with all those cucumbers...you won't run out any time soon I'm guessing. I am immersed in a good book at tbe moment...to the detriment of some other things. Oh well!

  9. I'm deeply immersed in a terribly smokey Launceston. The smoke is so thick, there is even a smoke haze inside the house, its awful! So many fires burning :-( Its definitely not making me feel very productive! Good luck with all the pickling, looks delish!!

  10. Love that pickle in your PJ's!
I'm deeply immersed in packing boxes, decluttering (still!), and soaking up as much info on biodynamics as possible... watching youtube videos on composts and preparations and dreaming about all things we want to do and what on earth we are going to do first... creating a big compost probably! x

  12. Great stuff Kate. Right now I am immersed in the 20 million photos I have taken on my camera in the last week, I need to get some serious editing and deleting happening x

  13. I'm in Tour Down Under land except I am unable to go and see everything I want to see because of the heat - sadly my body will no longer tolerate the heat that I used to love so much in younger days. If I ever read that you are 'in a pickle' I hope it will be meant in a happy and productive way.
(Now I am singing Madonna's "Like a Virgin" in my head except it's "Like a gherkin!") Have fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by...

I do read every single comment you leave and appreciate it very much, but I should let you know that I can be a wee bit on the useless side when replying to comments, that's just me, everyday life sometimes gets in the way....so I'll apologise now, just in case.
