love, indi x

Hello to all you wonderful readers sitting behind your screens ready to read my mum's blog.

I hope you slept well, are happy and healthy and have something exciting to do with your day!

My day consists of making mum and the rest of the fam shlep into town in the hope of crossing as much of my shopping list off as we can before I head overseas for the year. In ten days! Aaaaaahhh!!

I know from experience that when you travel your eyes see many beautiful new sights, views and monuments, but it's always a funny feeling to leave home. Because through all my mum and dad's constant hard work and joy for what they do, our home is also one of the most tremendously beautiful places I've ever been! Especially as the flower season begins.

Looking at the photo above makes me know that as I watch through my screen from across the world each new exciting flower variety bloom, just how much I'm going to miss always being surrounded by flowers, walking through the garden to pick them, bunching them and filling my room with colour.

But somehow I think that I'll miss the flower farmer herself much much more!

Sorry to take my mum away from you for the day!
I promise I'll make mum sit down and write another blog soon!

Wish me luck with my shopping list and taming the butterflies for the next ten days!

Lots of love, flowers and foxslane appreciation!

Love, Indi x

  2. May your travels be safe and joyful, May the wind be at your back. What a wonderful opportunity you have. Enjoy yourself, you are only young once and it passes in the blink of an eye. This is the most beautiful time in your life, the cusp of adulthood, stepping over from childhood to adulthood. When almost every path is open to you, I wonder which path you will choose.
Good luck getting through your to-do list today.
What are your travel plans, where will you be visiting?
    cheers Kate

  20. Oh my, this made me tear up. How lovely to hear from you Indi, your mum is going to miss you loads but as a mum myself I know that despite the anxiety it causes you personally you want your kids to experience as much of what the world has to offer as humanly possible.

Have an amazing adventure, I look forward to hearing about your travels through your mum. If your travels ever bring you to N. Ireland give me a shout and I can point you to all the best spots.

  22. Oh dear I can see we’ll need plenty of tissues at the ready for Kate as one of her chicks leaves the nest for a whole year. She will however be roaring you on so that you can enjoy all your experiences. Stay safe and enjoy. We and the remaining Fox Laners will steady your mum as she continues to steer her ship.
