Last night I made one of
Lucy's little birdies. If you can crochet you should make one. Lucy's tutorial is so easy to follow and the end result is gorgeous. Bren has asked me to make him a brown chook to hang from his rear vision mirror.
I am a little bit obsessed with making these tiny flowers at the moment. They are the perfect brooches, hair clips and parcel decoration.
We have had a crazy Sunday full of visitors, Christmas parties and Birthday parties, I guess that's what happens at this time of the year. How fantastic are these goody bags my wonderful friend Nell made for her three year old's party?!
I hope you have a great week and tick lots of things off your lists. First thing on my list is washing the school uniforms for tomorrow morning.
Who wouldn't love a man with a chook hanging from his rear vision mirror?....lol...perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteThat birdie is adorable, and I know someone else who would love a chook!
ReplyDeleteCan I have a chook too? That birdie is so cool, love the rainbow colours. Gosh, school uniform..hope we have something clean, we've just got home from the ballet extravaganza and all I can do is fall into bed..nighty night xo
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the chook too! That's it, I'm coming up to Daylesford and I'm not leaving until you teach me how to crochet Kate!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your colourful little Lucy birdie it's lovely. I'm also making these little flowers for hair slides as stocking fillers they are so much fun to make. Hope you have a very lovely weekend :O)
ReplyDeleteAmazing you live so far away and we are making such similar things thanks to the amazing world of blogs !!
ReplyDeleteThe brown chook is a cracker of an idea - better than fuzzy dice any day! You should definately run a "how to crochet" day for those of us who have no idea but want to learn.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw that wonderful birdy I knew where you had got the pattern from. Yours looks fantastic and I cant wait to see the brown chook too. The party bags are very cute arent they. I think those crocheted flowers are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove, love the flowers!
