Blah!
Right now at my house I should be making dinner, instead I am holding my baby on my lap while I write this.
Bren is working somewhere and Indi and Jazzy are outside doing the photo shoot for their glamour mag.
Apparently when they are finished they'll 'fiddle with photos on the computer, write some text and print the mag.' Wow!
At my house today this pile of gorgeousness has been taunting me all day. I pulled them together last night intending to sew them into some more jumping dresses today but instead they are still sitting untouched.
Maybe tomorrow.
Maybe tonight we'll sleep.
Hopefully.
I hope things are a bit more happy and healthy at your house today.
Love Kate X
Sorry to hear Pepper is sick, not fair! Hope it passes quickly and you get some sleep tonight, thinking of you xo
ReplyDeleteoh no, hope little Pepper is better soon.
ReplyDeleteAidan was sick the other night in bed & started throwing up. he got sooo scared because he didn't know what was going on.
have a rest, do the minimum & hope things are back to normal soon.
hugs ♥
Ah, yuck. A sick little one is absolutely awful; as bad for Mummy as for them, I think, knowing they are suffering & knowing there is bugger all you can do about it, except be there with kisses & hugs & more kisses, & more hugs... Well, it sucks. Hope Pepper feels better super soon, & that everyone gets some rest tonight. xoxo
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Miss P, its not good. Our Miss G was ill last week, made her so weak. Its awful when the little ones get these things. I hope you guys get some sleep tonight, it makes all the difference.
ReplyDelete(I REALLY love the fabric you have picked out there)xx
Hope you all get a better nights sleep tonight! I love that your girls are making their own magazine - what a great idea, I'm going to suggest it to my boys, although their would probably be about star wars or lego or weapons or something!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what the dresses look like in that beautiful fabric! Have a good week!
Sorry to hear about Pepper - hope she's on the mend soon and has a good long sleep for you tonight. I've had Kelvin out of sorts for a few weeks although (touch wood) sleeping pretty well but the clinginess alone is exhausting.
ReplyDeleteAs for the fashion mag - will they be selling subscriptions? I need me some more advice on how to fashionably drape wool around my neck to compliment my outfit!!
Oh boy, I hope your poor little pepper is better very soon Kate, everything seems a bit sureal with out sleep..that fabric pile sure does look gorgeous there, I hope you find time tomorrow to work your magic on them. How fabulous are your girls working on their glamour mag, I love it!
ReplyDeleteHope Pepper perks up soon. Some days everything just needs to take a back seat to one important thing. But I can see why the fabric is taunting you. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope Pepper is on the mend soon. No matter how old they get, sick kids always want their mum. Lovely fabric.
ReplyDeleteJak x
The only thing worse than sick kids is being sick and having sick kids. I hope your baby is on the mend. Also hope you get some sewing time in. The dresses are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHope Miss Pepper gets better soon and joins her sister's in their magazine endeavour! And you get the chance to play with those beautiful fabrics.
ReplyDeleteaeonie xx
Oh, I do hope Pepper gets better soon and that you get to play with your fabric
ReplyDeletehope your little one is okay. it's never nice to be sick.

ReplyDeletePoor Pepper. I hope she will be feeling better again really soon!
ReplyDeleteOh poor poor baby and poor baby's mummy xxx
ReplyDeletePoor Pepper. Hope she's alright again soon and sleep returns to your household.
ReplyDeleteI love the photos they are taking. What fun to make your own fashion mag!
:)
what a promising looking bundle, great colours.
ReplyDeleteWishing your wee sweety a quick recovery.
Poor Old Pepper, poor Kate!! Hope you get some sleep tonight and it's only a 24 hour bug.
ReplyDeleteHope you get to the gorgeousness soon,
YOu know I've heard it said should is a word that shouldn't ( ha) exist! xo
Oh dear! I really hope that Pepper starts to feel better soon and that you all get a good nights sleep tonight :O) x
ReplyDeleteLittle Pepper will be fine with all the care you are giving her. Meanwhile the imaginative well ones are busy. You have a great family.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, you have to have fun too, 'shoulds' can always wait!! Love Posie
ReplyDeleteI know this is a frustrated and tired post but you always make me smile. Maybe because I can relate so much. Unfortunately we aren't so well at the moment either. It was actually quite nice to be forced home today with my conjunctivitis eyes. My eldest still got to go on his special outing with the friend that was going as well.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you let some things go today - sometimes there really is no choice though, is there? There is only so much you can do with a child attached and really it is much nicer to have a cuddle at the computer rather than dragging them around.
Thanks for joining in this week Kate. Lovely to visit your house. Can't wait to see the mag ;)
Lou.
I do hope Miss Pepper feels much better soon and that you all get some much needed sleep. It isnt very nice being so tired like that at all. The girls mag sounds like a lot of fun and what imagination they have, perhaps they have been inspired by their mum's beautiful jumping dresses!
ReplyDeletea photo shot for their glam magazine...i am so missing out not having any girls. sigh.
ReplyDeleteHope little pepper get better very soon and sleep returned to normal...Amazing fabrics!! x
ReplyDeleteKate, I hope Miss Pepper comes well very soon, and I hope Bren has his white charger heading home soon.
ReplyDeleteSleeeeeep - the fabrics will call to you tomorrow too :)
They are delicious by the way.
At least the big girls seem very occupied and busy - can they do spagetti on toast for tea yet?
Hopeful thoughts of wellness and sleep-ins heading your way !
Heard about Pepper today and felt for you. That overwhelming wanting to fix but cant is hell. Hope you all get some rest tonight and Pepper improves tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteMerrilyn
Oh I do hope Miss Pepper feels better real soon. Hugs to you all.
ReplyDeleteHaving a sick child is no fun. Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight. I'm a big fan of Baby Dymadon in the orange flavour, my kids slurp it out of the syringe like a lolly and it gives you 3-4 hours of peace.
ReplyDeleteA little too familiar that fog where the shoulds get chucked out the window...
ReplyDeleteYour girls are fantastic - fashion mag - I LOVE it! Reminds of the kinds of things my sisters and I got up to as kids, but we certainly didn't know how to fiddle with photos on the computer!!
Hope things improve soon for little Pepper!
I know how you feel, I was woken in the middle of the night by a boy with nightmares....you certainly feel wrecked the next day. Hope Pepper is better soon :-)
ReplyDeletethrow the shoulds out the window, they will be back again tomorrow, so deal with them then. Hugs to Pepper and you too xx
ReplyDeletehope you're all getting better by now - I have a newborn and it is NOT easy after you get used to a good night sleep...
ReplyDeletesometimes we do need these days that we are floating with "life" rather than stick to our plans
wish ya' all the best

Poor Pepper---she's had a rough go of it lately! Hope she's well soon and you can get to that gorgeous pile of jumping-dress yum!
ReplyDeleteHope Pepper is feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteAnd if that first photo is any indication of the quality of the girls' magazine, sign me up for a subscription.
