Today so far...

Today I woke up wishing it were still the weekend, we were given lots of lovely cards about love from our girlies, I scrambled around for bits of underwear and uniform, I offended the eldest with a comment about her social life, I let the youngest wear shoes that are waaaaaaaay too big for her, I reminded the middle to remove her potions from the freezer to take to school,

I went for a walk with my boy, we did a pilates class and then met his parents for an early lunch in a court yard, I had a coffee and a lentil summer salad mmmm, I came home, I tidied up a bit and put some washing on, I read some emails, I gathered up the dress for a little girl to wear to a wedding and then I changed my mind and decided it wasn't quite right so I cut out some fabric and made another one, I sewed one of Wendy's divine little pockets on for treasure collecting,

I took a couple of photos of the dress and then came inside and decided I like the other one after all, I think I'll send her both and she can decide.

Soon the girls will be home, I'll bring the washing in and make lentil bolognese for dinner, then its craft night, a drink, a spot of knitting and a gossip and hopefully not too late a night.

Nice.

What are you up to?

I hope your Monday is a Funday. XX

  5. As you know, my sewjo has returned so I am itching to cut out and sew, sew, sew. My knitting is sulking. Your dresses are lovely. Has your knitting got its nose out of joint too? And I am trying to catch up on my blog reading and referred 3 siblings who have chosen this week/month/year to be completely disagreeable with each other (I am hoping it is "week" rather than "year"...)

  18. Well, I rode my bike to work in the cool of the morning, and then I worked and worked and worked and then I had lunch with a friend and had a lovely sandwich with turkey and brie on it, and then I got an upset tummy from the apricots I'd eaten earlier so I ended up not riding home again and got a lift instead. Then I had a very small dinner and went to a friend's place for craft night, where we drank coffee and ate mint slices and lots of cheese and laughed a lot and talked about iphone apps and then I cam home and fell into bed at midnight.

This morning I checked on my bike in the lockup downstairs, and someone with an even prettier bike than mine has parked right next to me. I'm going to have to take a photo before I ride home this afternoon.

Your Monday actually sounds far more interesting that mine!

We had lunch in our local and very yummy cafe, made some quick valentine cards, attempted some unsuccessful sewing, took a walk at dusk and had miso soup for dinner.

  28. Have you ever considered about including a little bit more
than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything.
However think of if you added some great graphics or
video clips to give your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with pics and
clips, this blog could definitely be one of the best in
    its field. Wonderful blog!

  34. Definitely believe that which you said. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the web the easiest thing to be aware of.
I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people consider worries that they
plainly don't know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
