Our farm gate stall is one week old!
Sitting at the very front of our farm, built by our friend Jobbo - @thebuilderrecycles - made entirely from timber and tin found around our property, it is exactly what we had hoped for.
I can't tell you how much it pleases me to know that the apples we've been picking are going straight into the shopping bags of our lovely customers. There are no trucks, no cold-stores, no middle-men, no retail markups - just fruit and vegetables and flowers grown here, picked by us, certified organic and DELICIOUS!!!!!
I feel so very grateful for the support we have been shown so far. I love that Miss Pepper's BPOD (best part of day) each day is collecting the money from the tin. And I feel like this little farm stall is something we have spoken of and wondered about for so many years and now she's here - and isn't she gorgeous!!

NZ must be an amazing place; my primary care doctor has come to your stunning land for a six-month sabbatical from northern California. She brought her family, musician hubby and two under-10 kids for the adventure--cannot wait to hear the stories come next fall when she returns to our side of the globe.
AGG! The frustration of lovin' on bloggers in different countries than your own! I want to see Lucy's (Attic 24) studio and have a cup of tea downstairs. Now I want to stop by your stand and eat a wonderful apple or pear! Especially since it is winter winter winter here in beautiful West Michigan. You know how they make charts that show the average highs and lows and then the actual highs and lows for a certain number of days? The average and the actual lines are so far apart, it's just not funny! Longing for a little Aussie fall weather, enjoy!
