salmon rose

Hello honey bunches!

Well wouldn't you know it? We've spent the very last blog Friday of the year netting the apple trees in the old orchard and I haven't had a chance to write my blog.

I've thought about it all day, and I've even taken some photos for it, but sometimes the stars just don't align and the farming has to come first.

So if it's all the same to you, rather than push through and start writing now at 6.52pm, I'll post these photos of Jazzy with the zinnias that I took the other day, I'll go and make the girls some dinner, and I'll post a proper blog post tomorrow or Sunday.

Thanks for being so awesome and understanding.

What did you get up to today on the last Friday of the year?

See you so very soon.

Love Kate x

  3. What a wonderful way to round out the year and capture the final shots of 2017 with your sweet girl and some gorgeous flowers. Hope you have a lovely weekend and blessed slide into 2018 <3 See you on the other side!

  4. I must go out and hunt down dahlias and zinnias to plant. It's been too hot to garden, just light weeding in the shade, but I need to purchase mulch and bulbs for the new year, and lettuce seedlings because none of my seed has taken. I hoped on out of date seed this year. Too many packets of undated saved seed and too much seed unsown. I tossed it all in the garden just to see what came of it. Not much, sadly. Time for restocking from what I have and what others can share, but in the meantime, seedlings will get us through just fine.

  5. I had a great day with my Niece and spent today sending everyone in my email contact list a happy New Year wishes and catching them up on how I am doing, hoping to rekindle some old friendships. The Zinnias look stunning, they are such a good cut flower. I used to grow them as a child. Have a wonderful time in the new year. x

Thanks so much for stopping by...

I do read every single comment you leave and appreciate it very much, but I should let you know that I can be a wee bit on the useless side when replying to comments, that's just me, everyday life sometimes gets in the way....so I'll apologise now, just in case.
