It's my first time playing along with Kootoyoo's My Creative Space.
This is my creative space.
It wont leave me alone.
It calls out to me all day...make me into a flower...I'd look great as a bowl...imagine me as a cushion cover...if you don't use me now you'll forget that brilliant idea...
How's a girl supposed to raise her children and keep her house in order?
The lone green and yellow are out of place in your red and blue based rainbow Kate! They all look sooooo yummy together though. love your post, happy to see you playing along with M. C. S. this week.
ReplyDeleteOrder shmorder!!
ReplyDeleteLOL, I know the feeling!! Great creative space
ReplyDeleteOh, I love it! Those colours all lined up like that are so gorgeous! Great space! :) K
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. I suffer from the same affliction!
ReplyDeleteYour space is gorgeous & don't worry too much about the kids...they can live on Weet-bix.
ReplyDeleteFabulous stash! How could you not resist it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely row of loveliness - great space!
ReplyDeleteKate your yarns look so lovely and all those wonderful colors too. I know how you feel as my stash never shuts up, lol, that is why I always have so many projects on the go. I cant wait to see what your yarn will become.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, the balancing act of craft, house, children and you forgot yourself! Be sure to post the answer when you find it!!
ReplyDeleteYour wool all lined up like that made me think of a big, colourful caterpillar. Good luck with listening too or ignoring those woolly calls!
I see you are having no problems at all developing the STASH!! Its Fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteLOL You could open a store with all that wool.
ReplyDeletewhat beautiful photos I can relate to this, sometimes it's wool (if only I could really knit) but it's fabric does this to me
ReplyDeleteThere's no hope for you whatsoever! The house is doomed, the children will remain unfed, as long as you get to be creative EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY!
ReplyDeleteAh! But how much more crafty portable can you get? Can't you schedule in a few swimming lessons? Half an hour, you need to stay and wait...the rest is history. Or a flower. Or a bowl. Or even a cushion cover...
ReplyDeletewhat a pathway to creativity~a delight!
ReplyDeleteI do believe that keeping house and creating are mutually exclusive of one another. With such beautiful colours, I think you should definitely choose creativity!
ReplyDeleteOooh, that beautiful, luscious pile of yarn. I agree . . . how do you get ANYTHING done???
ReplyDeletelovely creative space, enjoy being creative!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely :) I love laying out all my creative bits in a row too... Beautiful colours.
ReplyDeleteoo such pretty colours!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous gorgeous yarn. I think it knows how gorgeous it is and that is where the trouble begins. I am with Nikki, if you do find the balance, please share! :)
ReplyDeleteyour creative space is your mind's playground. It feeds your life's desires, so take note and work it together with your mothering, it will enhance both activities
