My creative space.

In my creative space this week I am begrudgingly thinking about dressing the littlies for the colder weather.

Although I refuse to bring out the denim and cord just yet, long sleeves are definitely in order.

Please excuse the tangle of elastic, this photo shoot doubled as a fit test at the same time.

Have you ever sewn elastic into the binding?

This is my first time and I love the effect.

And of course my creative space is full of thoughts of pin cushions.

I am absolutely blown away with the response to my swap and am finding it hard to think about much of anything else.

So thank you!
Thank you too to everyone who has been trying to help me with the side bar button situation. To be honest, I just can't do it. So if anyone wants to put a button on your sidebar, its probably the easiest to do what Cath has done over at Chunky Chooky (look top right in her sidebar), and put the top photo from my sign up post into a picture gadget and then link it back to that same post.

Get it? Got it? Good!

  6. Love the dress with jeans, it looks great. Just when I thought the vintage dress couldn't get any better.
I can't "make" stuff so won't be a part of the swap, but I can make you a button if you want. No trouble at all. Sorry, must have missed that in yesterday's post.

  9. I love that fabric; I haven't been able to find any fabric I like for a top for me at spotlight. I am going to hit the op shops for some vintage sheeting, I've never had any luck finding anything as nice as this, but my luck has got to change!

  10. Another great top :)

I used your photo to make a button on my blog and linked it back to you. I went to 'edit layout' and 'add gadget' in blogger. It then let me pick the photo and add the link.

  12. The dress looks lovely Kate! I think I might wait until someone makes a button up and you can email out the link to everyone. Jodie of Jellywares does that for her swaps and it is so much easier!

  27. I'm stumped. What should i drool over first: the so-sweet sheet shirt (say that 10 times fast!) or the granny-square pincushion? Decisions, decisions...

I do read every single comment you leave and appreciate it very much, but I should let you know that I can be a wee bit on the useless side when replying to comments, that's just me, everyday life sometimes gets in the way....so I'll apologise now, just in case.
