an invitation, a broken blog and a great big fat thank you...x

An invitation - please see above and please come.

An opportunity to win a copy of my book - please see my last post.

A broken blog - for some unknown reason, the last 158 comments on my last blog post didn't show up on the blog. I have no idea why. I have written to blogger and await their reply. I feel a bit sick.

In the meantime, please write your giveaway entries on this post here.

But not all is lost, I have all the emails that go with your missing entries secured safely in my inbox.

We'll draw the two winners from ALL the entries, on the blog and in my inbox, next Thursday 1st August.

And finally, thank you, thank you, thank you all for the kindest, most heart warming and generous comments on the giveaway post. You have made me laugh (farmer Bren centre-fold), you have made me cry (I'm seriously such a sook lately) and you have completely blown me away. I feel super lucky and thrilled to have you all in my life.

Love Kate xx

  35. I remember back when you started this little blogging adventure. When I first starting following you I think you had about 30 or so other followers. We did the washcloth swap and I was the lucky recipient of your beautiful washcloths, I still have them, unused, I just couldn't bring myself to use them! So amazing that you've come so far and managed to get so much out of it (and I don't just mean a book deal!) It's been so long since I've commented here or on any blog for that matter but I just wanted to say congratulations Kate, I love it when fabulous things happen to fabulous people. Selina xx

  40. When my first son was born I started reading blogs to pass the time and fill the many hours without adult company. Yours was one of the first I found and started following religiously. I loved the wonderfully captured images of your farm, your crafting and gorgeous family - and I loved the honesty of your words as you shared yourself so truly. As you travelled around this amazingly diverse country I lived vicariously through your posts and shared the dream of such an adventure with my husband. Oh, how amazing it would be!

Last Friday our second son was born and I continue to find your blog inspiring and heartwarming. I would love to win a copy of your book - a physical reminder of the dream and passion you live your life with, something to share with my family as we grow our own dreams and create our own adventures.

Thank you for always sharing so generously of yourself, Kate. Congratulations on the book!!!

  59. Hi Kate! Congratulations on the book - I soooooo can't wait to buy a copy (and to win a signed copy as well would be fantastic!). We too are a travelling family - currently in Broome (which is heaven!) and l loved reading all about your trip while we were planning ours! I have a very clever mum who crotched some beautiful bunting for our camper which I just love! Anyway - love your blog - have been missing it on the road at times we won't don't have much internet reception! We are unfortunately cutting our trip short having been offered a dream job to manage a mango, avocado, lime and passion fruit farm in Mareeba in Far North QLD, so at this point in time we are trying to soak up every minute of our last four weeks on the road - 13 weeks all up just isn't long enough!!! Anyway - this turned into a bit of a novel - just wanted to say love what you do and please keep on doing it!!!
