Gorgeous Anna Ross makes a brand of nail polish called Kester Black that is cruelty free, carbon neutral, ethically produced, carcinogen free, made in Australia, vegan and non toxic.
Sounds too good to be true, right?!
Well it gets better. Kester Black nail polish is high shine, chip free and right on trend with all the latest and greatest summer colours.
I know, right!!
When Anna contacted us and asked if we wanted to try out some of her gorgeous range we quickly replied with a great big YES! My girls love a bit of sparkle and polish, but we are always nervous about all the icky stuff that goes into the cosmetic products and the not so ethical production methods.
To be able to paint my girls' nails in polish that is not only safe for them but for the environment is winning all over.
(Do you like my attempts at fancy cup cake nails?)
After we tried and fell in love with Kester Black (even I have blue toes), we asked Anna some questions.
Where did the name Kester Black come from?
I was holidaying in the Queen Charlotte sounds (New Zealand) with some family friends about 6 years ago and we took their boat out to find a nice sheltered bay to swim in. I was taken to St Kester Bay and the only house in the whole bay was owned by a priest. St Kester Bay is the most beautiful place I have ever been to and I wanted to use that in my name. A few days later when we went back to the same bay, there was a group of people there who were dressed head to toe in black. And that's how my name came about.
Which is your fave shade to wear?
My all time favourite is bubblegum.
Kimbra. She is awesome. I think she is a few years younger than me and she's a kiwi too. She also does a lot of volunteer work and supports a lot of different charities.
What book are you reading at the moment?
I am reading two at the moment. Eating animals by Jonathan Safran (what an eye opener) and another business book called the E Myth by Michael E. Gerber. It's a business book about why most small businesses don't survive.
What is your fave food?
White rice. I love it. If I could eat it every day I would. I was in Japan for a month a few years ago and my Japanese friend taught me how to make the best sushi rice.
Coffee or tea?
I don't actually drink either. I have just got on the soy hot choc band wagon though!
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a fashion designer. I did get a degree and work in the industry for a while, but I realised it wasn't really for me.
What is your dream for Kester Black?
I would love to have a small team that work for me who are really passionate about making high end ethical beauty products. I am currently researching into how to grow my brand from where it is, and think the next step will be to expand my product range.
And now for the fun bit. Anna has kindly offered to send THREE of you guys her entire range of 15 summer colours!!
That's three prizes of 15 colours each. Amazing right!
Sorry Australia and New Zealand residents only.
All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below and please make sure I have a way of contacting you. We'll draw the winners next Wednesday and Anna will express post the packages so they will hopefully arrive before the big day.
Yay!
In the meantime, why don't you check out;

We have 4 nail polish mad people here who would love to win
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to win Kate. I have 2 girls who love having their nails painted, plus myself. At the moment we are all sparkly, but we love to change it up regularly!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway Kate. The granddaughter would love it.
ReplyDeleteOMG, I'd forgotten about Kester Black. Saw and coveted the shades a while ago, but can't remember why I didn't quite click buy. I think all the yummiest colours were sold out after the nail art book came out.
ReplyDeleteI am ashamed to say that as a NZer I haven't seen this brand before. My daughter and I would love to win some - imagine our Christmas nails. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I would love a set of these, love the cupcakes too! Great prize for christmas
ReplyDeleteIf ever there was a reason to dig the soil from underneath my nails and stay out of the garden for a day or two... and get pretty...these nail polishes would have to be it! A bit of colour co-ordination with my favourite flowers (forget me nots) seems in order... oh Kate, why do you have to review such cool products?
ReplyDeleteI have also found it HARD to find a polish that ticks ALL the boxes for me and my 3 girlies...gonna check these out whether I win a prize or not!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anna and Kate. AmyXx. amy.jenkin@bigpond.com
What a great product! Would love to share some ethical gifts this Chrissy :-) x
ReplyDeleteooh I love those colours and so would my daughter. It can be nail polish central around here but I worry about the nasties in it too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Janet (jmgrigg@bigpond.net.au)
I love Kester Black!! I like to give her polishes as a gift to my mama friends so they can have nice nails without worrying about nasties and I would LOVE the entire range!! Thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteSooooo many pretty colours! Maybe i could finally do my nails without getting a headache!!??
ReplyDeleteAwesome give away! :)

ReplyDeleteWow 0 they are gorgeous. I love the colours but most of all I love that they are ethical. Thanks for being so generous. becsimcowling at bigpond dot com
ReplyDeleteThis would be such an amazing prize to win! Im in love with the Kester Black nail polish range and loving the Tropicana range, its my fav! Would love to have this as I know it would be completely safe on my nails as well as my little darlings nails as well.
ReplyDeletekelseyfeisst@gmail.com
Wow love the colours and my toe nails would love the colours too LOL. What a great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteYou had me at 'ethically produced' and 'non toxic'! Absolutely love this nail polish brand! Would be an absolute delight if I found I had won these, although I don't think I'd be able to keep them to myself! I sense a girls night in in the near future! (deanne_drury@bigpond.com)
ReplyDeletenail polish addicts here, thanks for the chance, great interview :)
ReplyDeletebuhagiar2@bigpond.com
My Ella is so much girlier than I have ever been! She would love this as there are no 'mummy' nail-polishes in the house to play with :P
ReplyDeleteAndi xx
Oh would love this! The little girls and I can while away those hot days painting our nails under the fan :)
ReplyDeleteeawooden@y7mail.com
Oh yes please count me in my girls will love doing their nails with those gorgeous nail polishes. x
ReplyDeleteOh man, I have been coveting these for so long - imagine having ALL of them!! I completely share your fear of most nail polishes, my girls would be so excited to have free range of these.
ReplyDeleteCount me in exactly what my girl and I need for our next mummy daughter date x
ReplyDeleteOoh! These look absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeletethebell01 @ hotmail
I love, love, love Kester Black. Best, most beautiful nailpolish ever. I'm going to cross my (currently very non-sparkly) fingers and toes.
ReplyDeleteOh, these are STUNNING! I have a 19 year old niece who is nail polish obsessed, and has taught me to be the same - I've even grown my nails just so I can buy nail polish! I'm heading over to check out her shop now. Thankyou for sharing, and for the lovely pictures (as usual).
ReplyDeleteI often go to buy these polishes but end up getting overwhelmed by the amazing choice of colours and scuttle away.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity to win a fantastic product.
ReplyDeletemissy-76@hotmail.com
Gorgeous, myself and the teen girls would love to try these :) fantastic job with the cupcake nails!
ReplyDeleteLouise (erimas66@gmail.com)
Totally cool idea! And considering how I 'eat' my polish pretty much the day after I put it on (bad habit!) - non toxic is a fantastic idea!
ReplyDeleteIm the only female in my household, so I make sure I pamper myself from time to time and add a little colour into our otherwise very blue dominated wardrobe of school uniforms and work wear. We all need a little colour in our lives :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Kester Black! The colours are so vibrant and opaque - perfect for my current nail art obsession. And 5-free! I'd love to win :-)
ReplyDeleteContact: management AT amaliward.com.au
Yes please, I have lots of females I can share this with! email is ckcampbell@optusnet.com.au
ReplyDeleteThere needs to be more products like this. Even better when they are home grown.
ReplyDeleteThanks for promoting the company.
In a house full of boys (dog included), I need some girly time. This would be great.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful! love the blues :-)
ReplyDeletesarah.fuller@ymail.com
I had never heard of Kester Black nail polish but will seek it out now for me and my daughter (and son actually - he quietly loves his toes painted).
ReplyDeletekedelben@gmail.com
what an amazing giveaway!! I love my nail polishes, can't ever have enough funky colours to do mine and my 2 daughters nails.
ReplyDeleteMy Lottie will think that Christmas has come if I get her some of these polishes (wait a minute..). She LOVES nail polish. If I attempted your snazzy cupcakes, she's probably faint dead away with the ecstasy of it all. x
ReplyDeleteOh wow, winning these polishes would be so choice! Just got into Kester Black, and not only is it ethically amazing, but performance wise too. Dreaming of all the fun that could be had given that I gave my buddy the nail art handbook for Christmas... sarah.liz.turner @ gmail.com
ReplyDeleteWow what a great product! I would love to give these to my little girl who is almost 4 and loves nail polish but I refuse to let her wear any cos of all the nasty stuff but this I would happily give to her! I can totally see us with goreous ethical nails this summer x thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteGeorgiabrungs (at)(gmail)(dot) com
Yay!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh wow. I used to wear nail polish all the time but haven't since I got pregnant and became hyper-aware of icky chemicals. Summer toes just aren't the same without it, though.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate and Kester Black for the fab giveaway. Happy solstice!
What a great idea...I think ethical cosmetics/body products is really important, but it's HARD to know what's what in the zoo out there.
ReplyDeleteWahh these are amazing! And the cupcake nails <3 ashton.rigg@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI have often wondered if there was such a thing as ethical nailpolish. I use it in Summer on my toes. It would be great to introduce my nieces to this brand- at least two of them are vegetarian/vegan so they would be very into it. I have 3 boys and I know it wouldn't be their thing :-)
ReplyDeleteOh so colourful. So nice for summer
ReplyDeleteNice learning more about you, Kate. This is a great prize! Thanks for the opp. Fingers (which will hopefully be sporting some new Kester Black shades) crossed! :)

ReplyDeleteThose colours look like fun, joy and exuberance and all the more because of how they are made. I can see myself sharing these with my granddaughters and having a giggling, happy nail polish party.
ReplyDeleteOoooh would love to win this one, I am wearing Kester Black "parrot" on my toes after treating myself to a new bottle of polish - I had a hard choice deciding as they were all so gorgeous. They make a great gift too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blog and great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what a stunning range of colours and sparkles too! Love the fact that they're environmentally friendly and non toxic. Count me in please!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours and such a generous offer and quite a coincidence because today I trend to send my grand-daughter Ivy ( who lives in Melbourne) a range of nail polishes for her birthday. I took the parcel to my New Zealand post-office but they wouldn't let me air-mail them because they are inflammable. So, if I were lucky enough to win I'd want them to go to her
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE, yes please!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy nails have gone bare for so long. I too worry about all the icky things in nail polishes so I am happy to hear about Kester Black _ and the fact they are an Australian product just icing on the cake.
ReplyDeletewow haven't worn polish in forever - this may yet turn me into a lady now that polish exists without all the toxic crap - great vibrant colours too!
ReplyDeletemy girls adore nail polish...gorgeous colours and being Aussie made and no nasties is a bonus!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway Kate. I have begun to make the move towards more 'eco' friendly cosmetics but always liked the polish on the toes and struggled to give it up! Very happy to hear about Kester Black and look forward to trying them.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome is the nailpolish to be all nice and safe and know that it is cruelty free is a huge bonus. Yvonne

ReplyDeleteI'd love to win! These polishes always catch my eye because my brother-in-law's name is Kester (it's the Scottish form of Christopher).
ReplyDeleteelizabethowheel@gmail.com
Wow what a great giveaway Kate, fantastic colours and environmentally friendly. Good you and your girls got to try them out. Hadn't heard of Kester Black before and would love to win to give to my daughter. If not will have to buy her some.
ReplyDeleteBev (email; barrade@iinet.net.au )
These look gorgeous! I have a 3yo son who loves rainbow toes and 3 nieces who love quirky, ethical treasures. We could certainly share the eco love with such a large range of colours. What a great product Anna and thanks for sharing Kate! lenkos33@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteSarah
This is so exciting! My best friend and I would make such good use of this, we change our nail polish multiple times a week! We are running out of colour choices now though... (emilyy.s@live.com)
ReplyDeleteYay a contest New Zealanders can enter, what a great product, love all the colours, so bright and happy, and what fantastic values the company has definitely will be buying these for me and my 2 daughters and recommending to everyone
ReplyDeleteAs a chemically sensitive mum I can't let my 15yo and 6yo daughters try nail polish as the fumes overwhelm me. I know they'd love to wear something safe that won't make mum feel sick. Thanks for offering a competition, good luck everyone! :-)
ReplyDeleteOooo! Ooo! OOooh! I have just made an advent calendar for my girlies (under inspiration of some friends... if I had a blog I'd say.... see here! Maybe I'll change my photo to show you!) anyway, one of my friends activities is for every member of the family (including the dog!) to paint their toenails all different colours. We wanted to do this too but only have 2 nail polishes (of the Butter fame) at $20+ a pop, more colours seemed a bit outrageous on our budget. But imagine the outrageousness of the creations that could be created out of the Kester Black summer range! Pure colour chaos!!!! And Australian made to boot! <3 And ethical, and eco friendly, and, and, and..... we have loads of toes and fingers to paint with love and cupcakes and..... anyway. Yes please! annshar7@yahoo.com.au x
ReplyDeleteHmmm..... am I technologically able? Did I change my pic? Can you see my advent calendar? YES!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI can see it!
DeleteIt's tiny but it's there. x
I don't paint my nails very often, being a mum of two boys. But I recently gave myself a mini pedi and painted my toes bright pink! I had forgotten how fun it is to have a little splash of colour no the tips of my fingers and toes. I love the idea of being able to have that PLUS know that it is ethically produced.
ReplyDeleteOh how awesome. My daughter has just started to express an interest in painting her nails, and I haven't yet as I was worried about chemicals etc. This is perfect!
ReplyDeleteThese look so lovely! Your cupcake design is super cute! I can imagine having a lot of fun with all those colours with my cousins on Christmas Day :) would love to win!
ReplyDeleteI'm in and i know my daughter will want to play as well. Cheers and happy painting MoniqueX
ReplyDeleteThank you for this review. After years of painting my nails on a weekly basis- I put a stop to it all about twelve months ago when it hit me what nail polish was full of and how it's ethics weren't aligning with mine. I have since been polish- free as I couldn't bring myself to wear anything that compromised my health and the health of other living beings and the environment......but still felt a little sad to miss out on something I once really enjoyed....but now....there's an answer!! Thanks Kate and Anna!!
ReplyDeleteRenee reneemichelle86@hotmail.com
I would absolutely LOVE to..I won't wear nail polish at all because of the nasty ingredients (and the fact a lot of the big make-up brands still test on animals) but I do still love to get dressed up so it would wonderful to win this!
ReplyDeleterobintaildesigns@gmail.com
Love these polishes! As a flight attendant i am required to always have manicured nails....would be lovely to have toxic free & are ethically produced! Great work Anna Ross!!
ReplyDeleteJesswirski@hotmail.com
Oh yay! Another vegan polish brand! And one that is easily gotten in Australia! Please let this be my lucky day!
ReplyDeleteEep! I would dearly love to win this to share with my (nearly) 13 year old, Bella. We have a big old box of chemically-filled nail polishes and I'd love to replace them with some delightful Kester Black ones. xx
ReplyDeleteonecraftymumma@internode.on.net
My daughter begs to have her toenails painted but the fumes trigger her asthma. Kester Black could be just what we need!
ReplyDeleteMy so very nearly 6 yr old would love a Kester fiesta- it would be fab for an end of Kindy, Christmas & Birthday celebration! X echidnafamily [at] hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteA 7-year old in my house has asked Santa for make-up (and I'm aghast)! We have resisted this so far for so many reasons but some ethical fun nail polish might tick boxes for everyone.
ReplyDeleteThanks for highlighting this fabulous product - now to source it locally.
My so very nearly 6 yr old would love a Kester fiesta- it would be fab for an end of Kindy, Christmas & Birthday celebration! X echidnafamily [at] hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteWould love these! Always looking for better beauty options! I'm such a product junkie...
ReplyDeleteHells yes please!! Painting my 2 yo' snails is the only way she'll let me cut her toe nails. They grow over the ends of her toes (thanks daddy) so cutting them is a bit of a nightmare!! I often feel guilt over the cheap nasty polish I use, but budgets are tight and I can't let her toe nails cut if her toes lol.
ReplyDeleteWow Kate, this is awesome and the fact that I have 3 girls makes this even more of a winner, although I think that the nail polish would run out quicker than I could blink. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI'd share these with my vegan, yoga instructor sister and my three little girls too... beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThese are stunning colours, we would LOVE to give them a try here in New Zealand! And I think I might have to go and find out how to get to Kester Bay as well!
ReplyDeletesezzaknits@gmail.com :D
Ooh I love these. Have been trying to decide just which colour is best. Great that it is enviro friendly!
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful we can all help to support brands and people that are working their hardest to make this world a better and more colourful place! Very excited to be arriving in Melbourne next Wednesday for the following 8 weeks - can't wait to see some sunshine! Thank you Anna for this amazing giveaway - these colours will look amazing on my toes at the beach ;) Thanks to you too Kate - always an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteLovely product, lovely colours, lovely endorsement! Thanks for chance to win. Xx
ReplyDeleteWe love Kester Black in this house, which I bought for the reason that my 11 year old wanted to paint her nails, and I was concerned about the chemicals and nasties in nail polish. I bought myself 2 shades to share with my girls. Love the colours and a bit if sparkle of course. My 11 year old daughter actually has Kester Black nailpolish on her wish list this Christmas. Yep, shades requested and all. I enjoyed reading your interview with Anna. I look forward to the Kester Black range expanding. kirsty@repurpose.com.au
ReplyDeleteWow nail polish that doesnt chip and comes in 15 different colors and is good for the environment sounds wonderful Kate. I normally dont wear nail polish anymore because as soon I wash the dishes it normally chips off. Isabelle on the other hand is a nail polish wizz and would love it (and I could try it too). It sounds like a fantastic chance to try some really neat new stuff!
ReplyDeleteOh, I like that. I work with environmental volunteers and some of them (including me) are slowly approaching the age where you need reminders. A colourful pinkie reminds you to make time for daily exercises, to contact friends and don’t stay lonely, send happy thoughts in the universe. I’d like to win the Kester Black nail polishes to give them away to these volunteers that do so much good.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Barbara
What a great range! I love hearing about people really making a difference! The colours are amazing - I think even my boys would like their nails painted in those vibrant colours!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing giveaway ... I always hate the thought of what goes into most nail polish so this brand sounds awesome
ReplyDeleteIf I won these I would happily throw away all the other nail polish in my house. Fingers crossed (and hopefully awaiting this nail polish!) . deborah.lee911@gmail.com xx
ReplyDeleteWHAT! That is completely awesome. I've never heard of them before. My girlies looove painting each others nails, but I always worry about how many nasties are in it! I am definitely going to check these out... stocking stuffer for my biggest girl might be a plan :)
ReplyDeleteI love all your give aways. Why are they all only for Australia?? I live in New York USA.I also love reading your blog and learning about Australia and your life there. We are in winter here so its nice to read each morning about your summer
ReplyDeleteMy girl would loooooove these. She is always ooooohing over all the colours in the shops now, but I resist because of all the chemicals. I will check these out now!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful colours! Anna, I love you vision. Go girl!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh my girls love nail polish, they would be in heavenly bliss. Your cupcake design is so cute, we are stealing that idea Kate.
ReplyDeleteWould love to win, thank you!! anniekins_s@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteHi Kate, I have to say I'm just loving those nail polishes, with an 18 year old daughter they would be just perfect, I will definitely checking them out! Have a happy weekend xxBrenda
ReplyDeleteHow lovely and kind. I would love to give these to my daughters and know that they were using a beauty product with ethics!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! My girls would love these, and their Dad won't mind either, given their ethical credentials.
ReplyDeleteIt would be so lovely to get to try these out,I'm sure the littlest would be super excited!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for explaining about this nail polish! I was shopping for my nieces the other day and came across it and almost bought them some, but stopped because I didn't know anything about the brand. Now I must go back and get some for them - they will love it, and I will too knowing the story behind it. P.S. I would love your list of ethical presents suggestions too! xx Sandra (s.hocking@optusnet.com.au)
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! I currently have no nail polish as I find it hard to find any that ticks all the right boxes! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteBtw I can be reached at skyefraserATme.com
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic product! (I know I'm not allowed to win) :( I stopped wearing nail polish for several reasons, but the main one was that it was such a yucky, chemical filled product tested on animals. So nice that there is a feel good version out there, but that still won't help that I don't have the time in my day to wait for it to dry!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! I've seen these and love that they are so ethical and not produced by a multi national company. I haven't bought one yet as I have a tight budget at Xmas time but they are definitely on my wishlist! Thanks Kate and Kester Black xx (leanne.roach8@bigpond.com)
ReplyDeleteThe cupcakes are adorable!!
ReplyDeleteLove the fact that these are made by a small business and don't contain any nasties!
Love the sound of this company. I wish I had 15 fingers :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful...loving all the colours!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing giveaway ... Ive never really known what goes into most nail polish so this brand sounds awesome now i know.. and the colors are very cool ..
ReplyDeletethanks for the chance to own them ( and for the cupcake design of course)

My girls and I would love to win this. That glitter one is awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh this is such an amazing product. I would definitely love to win this and know someone that would love to receive it under the christmas tree!!! Lisa
ReplyDeleteOh wow! What an amazing product!!!
ReplyDeleteXo
I've always bitten my fingers nails. My mum was constantly trying new ways to stop me. Even throughout my adult life, my nails are usually chopped or broken or picked right down. But throughout my pregnancy my nails have grown long and strong. I've been wanting to paint them but an weary of the chemicals etc. these colours are just stunning, so perfect for summer!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the information, I've seen this nail polish around, and was wondering if it was a no nasty ingredients one, which all I will buy these days, especially for my little girls. Now I know it is, I'll pay more attention to where I've seen it! Thanks for the chance, what an awesome prize!
ReplyDeletealikat3218@msn.com
Oh boy, I cant resist!! I've been searching for exactly this for my two possums and, Kate, your concerns about chemicals etc are mine too. What luck to stumble across such a perfect give away! And what gorgeous colours! Thank you so much for the chance. x
ReplyDeleteOh yes please!!!!! I've always been wary of nail polish (it just can't be ok, with a smell like that, can it?) and have therefore never worn it. Being a little older and needier in the beautifying department now and having girlies that are wanting to wear some pretties, makes me very thankful that some folks are doing something towards creating a non toxic version. Thanks for the opportunity to try it out.
ReplyDeleteI wore a Peach shade of Kester Black to my wedding two weeks ago. It looked great, but I was most impressed it lasted a week after the wedding. As a Kinder Teacher with hands constantly in glue, paint, play dough and a sandpit, I was amazed it stayed on and didn't chip. Now with school holidays coming, 15 shades would be fun to play with!!!!
ReplyDeletewow. great giveaway. would love to win.
ReplyDeletezorconinternational@yahoo.com.au
Now this is my type of thing 15 shades fabulous.
ReplyDeleteMy girly girl would so love to receive this under the tree!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe this came up! I was just looking into buying your book (as we are doing a 6 month trip with our kids next year) and saw your blog about the ail polish....I have been looking everywhere for some nail polish that is not scarey to put on my daughter. ;) this looks great :

ReplyDeleteVery cool! Girlies would love all this x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely giveaway
ReplyDeleteWow those colours are amazing. I too struggle with letting my two 9 and 11 year olds wear nail polish yet at the same time feel like they fit in with others. Kester Black looks so vibrant and with goodness of knowing that you can feel good about letting them use it. I would be the coolest Mum ever if I presented this at Xmas time. Thanks Kate for the lovely giveaway. Leanne
ReplyDeleteI haven't worn nail polish, perfume and a lot of make up for over 12 years due to chemicals so Kester Black sounds great. Just one question, what about the polish remover? That can be worse than the actual polish. Wishing the best of luck to the company and its creator!
ReplyDeleteLove to cover the ugly toes with such wonderful colours :-)
ReplyDeletemeredith@gmail.com
Quite unexpectedly my nearly four year old is a very girly girl, she would love this choice of colours and I would love the time spent with her working on funky designs for her tiny toes and fingers :).
ReplyDeleteI'm always looking for great nail polish - I love the bright colours! :)
ReplyDeleteOmg omg omg !!! I've heard about Kester !!! I occasionally use Butter but know its not 100% human-friendly... I would like some new summer colours and would love to say yes to my girl when she asks if I can paint her nails - without the nasties!! Thanks Kate and Kester!!
ReplyDeleteMerry Xmas!
Lauren

ReplyDeleteAwesome my girls are always asking for nail polish but I hate buying the crappy ones they always want
ReplyDeleteThis would be amazing!!! I was just sorting out my nailpolishes in the hope of a little at home pedi but gave up cause all my polish is blagh!

ReplyDeleteNever heard of Kester Black - and would be really keen to give it a run. After a few decades hiatus I've recently started back on nail polish as compensation for not being able to knit, but I am a bit nervous about the toxicity to me and the world.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this fab giveaway prize opportunity.
ReplyDeleteWe would love to win, my daughter and I change our nail colours as often as possible and love the Kester Black collection :)

DeleteMy girl would die for these, she changes her nailpolish a couple of times a week it seems, and has a million colours, but none that are cruelty free, carbon neutral, ethically produced, carcinogen free, made in Australia, vegan and non toxic. Wow, that is so fantastic!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love finding out where that great name is from, I would never have guessed :-)
