This is was the view from my bedroom door.
It took me a few seconds to realise that a trapeze inside the house is probably a bit unusual. A trapeze that can be swapped for a swing for Miss Pepper is probably not what you would find inside most houses, although I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Thanks heaps to this week's theme queen Little Suitcase, to see how other people interpret the theme pop on over to Ms Pip's place.
Wow Kate! That is sooo cool. I love it and I bet your kids and everyone else's do too. It's fantastic!
ReplyDeleteOh that is making me so needy - I needy one of those! Too bad about the kids - I needy one for me! How have you attached it to the ceiling?
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I can't believe all the people who thought "Doh! I can't play..." only to come up with something... well... like this!!
ReplyDeleteI REALLY don't have anything weird in the house... 'cept me. ;)
Oh I need one of those too! My 1 year old would spend all his time outside on the swing if he could. We don't get much done inside as a result. One of these would be great! How cool is that! Is it for big kids too or only the little ones??? lol
ReplyDeleteOMG how cool is that!
ReplyDeleteTempting - but I would be sure to do myself an injury ;-)
Mmm that is different! What an awesome house to grow up in! Fantastic Kate xox
ReplyDeleteShow-off! :) I bet you tidied especially for those pics? Your house is (i quote) 'amazing!'
ReplyDeleteSteph
You just cracked me up!
ReplyDeleteWho else would think to have a trapeze inside their house?
Isn't it funny how we don't view ourselves as unusual untill forced to take a good hard look! Love it...my place just isn't that cool though!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it!! What a wonderful idea!
ReplyDeleteHow fantastic! I love the idea...
ReplyDeleteThat's it. You are officially the coolest mum in the whole entire world. I'm never showing my kids this post, lest I go down in their estimation.
ReplyDeleteMmmm noice!!!
ReplyDeleteCan just imagine swinging on the trapeze with a cardonay in my hand and a bit of a Ritz cracker.
Definitely noice!!!!
Oh I want one too!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo's! I love the hanging plaits. Hope you get to have some peace today and lots of love too. Talk soon xo
ReplyDeleteOh Chef!!!! I have a little project for you!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love that it is so 'everyday' to you that you struggled to thinkof anything different in your home.
Hi Kate
ReplyDeleteSo nice meeting you yesterday :-)
Thats a cool trapeze. Our kids are often upside down too.. hanging from the hammock hanging in our lounge room :-) Im sure kids are part monkey.
Manda xo
yep that takes the cake. i think it may support my theory that some of you players are secretly S&M devotees( don't tell the kids i said that)

ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific photo - I bet all the neighbourhood kids are begging their parents for a trapeeze in the house!
ReplyDeleteI love it. I also love it that it didn't strike you immediately as unusual. Fun!
ReplyDeleteHhhmmmm, let me think. A trapeze in the lounge room. Hmmmmm? Yes, I think you can safely say that is a bit unusual!!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic idea... for so many reasons, not the least that it so doesn't belong in the lounge room!
