After struggling with the worded pattern for ages I have had a go at translating it into a drawn pattern. Bren and his Dad are sitting next to me laughing that this could possibly make any sense.
If you think this bunny might find a good home at your place, why don't you come back here on the weekend when I will be auctioning him off with all proceeds going to the Haiti relief effort.

You can't do much hopping without feet now can you? He's looking wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, he's going to be soo sweet! I'm sure you'll figure out the feet thing no worries :)
ReplyDeletehe is so cute.
ReplyDeleteHe's gorgeous Kate. Do the feet need to be oversized and elongated do you think?
ReplyDeleteThat little bunny is too cute!
ReplyDeleteOh dear. All crochet is gobbledigook to me so if these feet are stumping YOU they must be fiddly! I have a suggestion: you could always leave poor old bunny footless - surely the extra sympathy generated will raise more $$!!
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I'm not much help - I haven't done any 3D crochet yet! I do rather love his tummy though!
ReplyDeletePerhaps he got caught in a trap and now has no legs...maybe not! He is looking very cute, no help here with the legs. Can't even cast on lol! xox
ReplyDeleteI like her tummy too. I'm assuming she is a girl! I don't know how you do that complicated crochet, my mind just spins when I see your pattern/instructions. Can't wait to see the finished bunny, hope you're having a fun day xo
ReplyDeleteAre you sure he needs feet? maybe he just needs legs!!!
ReplyDeleteHe's looking gorgeous Kate!
ReplyDeleteI hate having feet/leg dramas, I agree with Deb, maybe he just needs legs?
Love your bunny. I don't get those drawn patterns at all but I do think they are most beautiful things :) Good luck and have fun with your bunny feet. K
ReplyDeleteI think she is lovely, feet or no feet. Such a pretty colour.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bunny! Good luck with the feet and the sale of your bunny.
ReplyDeleteWow - love it!!! Something I am yet to try.
ReplyDeleteOoo, he's cute! Love the miss-matched ears...
ReplyDeleteHe's lovely! Good luck with his feet, I bet all attempts are just fine x
ReplyDeleteohhh what a sweet bunny, the feet look great to me!
ReplyDeletehe's very sweet!
ReplyDeletemmm, sometimes i get the diagrams and othertimes not ~ it should be more obvious than the written form . . .
hope you find a solution here :)
I think he/she would be ever so sweet with legs that were made just like the arms. :-) Whatever you decide to do, someone is going to love that bunny!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a foreign language to me as well. Or maybe a map of someone's eye. I'm sure his feet will be perfect when he's done. Maybe you should just make up your own pattern for them, you sure look capable of it.
ReplyDeleteNaughty bunny feet! Good luck, hope the diagram makes it easier! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy feet ?
ReplyDeleteGood luck! ^^
BRILLIANT!!
ReplyDeleteI think your diagramatic translation is a clever idea (Besides do you see your hubby and FIL crocheting better bunny feet? Nope, thought not!)
ReplyDeleteHe's a very cute rabbit and a great thing you're doing, Kate.
Is it awful of me to suggest he's a little 'franken-bunny' right now..?! I LOVE it though!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see him all finished & ready to hop off to a new home!
Oh my! He is just looking so delightful! Love the colours!
ReplyDeleteSophie x
Kate ~ I love the bunny he/she is very cute. I agree with some of the others though ~ it might just be easier to give the bunny legs :O) x
ReplyDeleteHe does have a certain Footless Bunny charm about him! Best of luck with the hoppy bits...
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute, he kind of looks like he's thinking 'if i just pretend that its normal to have no feet maybe no-one will notice'.
ReplyDeleteYour bunny is getting cuter by the day - I'll be back on the weekend! Nic
ReplyDeleteYour bunny is coming together beautifully!
ReplyDeleteI prefer symbol charts to written patterns. The bunny is looking so cute.
ReplyDeleteI have absolute faith that you'll be able to work out the feet.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your auction.
Poor footless little bunny! It's much hard to roll than to hop. ;)
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of abandoned bunny feet scattered all over the place. Good luck!
I love bunny as he is but some long dangly legs could be cute, or how about you try some intuitive crochet feet- without the pattern !! Good luck
ReplyDeleteLouise xx
