The cucumber girls song
Cucumber girls have cucumber eyes
Cucumber girls, cucumber girls
Cucumber girls have cucumber ears
Cucumber girls, cucumber girls
Cucumber girls have cucumber mouths
Cucumber girls, cucumber girls
Cucumber girls have cucumber ears
Cucumber girls, cucumber girls
That's the way the story goes
About the cucumber girls, cucumber girls
La la la la la la la
cucumber girls, cucumber girls
I'm afraid you'll have to put the words to your own tune because although I do have a video of our cucumber girls singing their song, I doubt I'll get the release to share it with you. Sorry. I'm sure you'll come up with something fabulous though. You're clever like that.
I hope you have a wonderful week lovely peeps.
We've got lots of farm work to do, a visit to the big girls' new school to look forward to and the last week of the school holidays to enjoy.
What have you got planned?
See ya later alligator!
Love Kate

I love these photos Kate. It reminds me of being that age playing with my sisters.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a lovely weekend,
Sarah x
PS. I saw your sheep on Instagram - they are so cute!
Yay, thanks honey.
DeleteI'm so excited about those wooly creatures.
Hopefully I'll get down there with my camera today and get some shots for the blog.

I sung to the tune of " Buffalo Girls". At least I think that's what the song is called...
ReplyDeleteHave a fun weekend lovely xx
I hope you have a gorgeous week too xx
DeleteOh the older girls are off to a new school! Doesn't your Dharma school go through to the older grades? Hope you've found something that you're happy with :-) big changes
ReplyDeleteThe Dharma school finishes after year six at the moment.
DeleteHopefully by the time Pepper is in high school it'll go up with her.
In the meantime we've found a school that sounds amazing but is quite a distance away.
Hopefully it all works out brilliantly.

Oh hoping so too!! Are they both going into Grade 7? Hope they cope with the travel, are you having to drive them? Hope there's a bus :-)
DeleteLove your blog-every single post brings joy, smiles, and relief that there still exists sanity and compassion in our world. Thank you, Kate.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh you made my day Linda.
DeleteThank you!!

Oh, is it really the end of school holidays? I have obviously been in denial and it's crept up on me. I've been enjoying these lazy, "wake with no set plan" kind of days way too much! I hope the start of a new school year at a new school works out really well:)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Kate, so much fun! x
