I do read every single comment you leave and appreciate it very much, but I should let you know that I can be a wee bit on the useless side when replying to comments, that's just me, everyday life sometimes gets in the way....so I'll apologise now, just in case.

Love the fabric :) - I am trying to catch some creative moments here and there too.
ReplyDelete"snatching moments" is something I need to learn - I only seem to start something if I think I have a lot of time... which means I don't get started... enjoying your lovely creations again Kate!
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying those snatched moments Kate x Everything is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI can sympathize, Kate---everything here gets done in dribs and drabs! But mine never comes out looking quite as lovely as that cardi---or that dress!
ReplyDeleteLove the dress, and your cardi looks gorgeous. Cant wait to see how it turns out. Bush kinder sounds like lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute little dress. I never would have thought to use a granny square for a pocket. Clever!

gorgeous dress, looking forward to seeing finished cardi :)
ReplyDeleteI am constantly amazed at how much time those snatches add up to. I'm on to the very end of a pair of wristwarmers. Cast on on Monday (gymnastics pick up), with a scheduled cast off this afternoon (swimming).
ReplyDeleteThe cardi is looking fab. I reckon I can guess which one it is and if so, I'm afraid I'm already in the queue for copying...
Always a pleasure to see what you're up to, Kate. I love how portable crochet seems to be. The anytime, anywhere craft option!! x
ReplyDeletenice idea those snatched moments - when they work out well, i feel such a sense of accomplishment, when they work out badly i am a basketcase... like the tangle ball below...
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know it is not just me
And gorgeous dress.
Loving the look of your cardi ... of to be that clever!
ReplyDeleteYou make lovely things - I wish I could fit into that dress! You have a great sense of color and design

Oooh that's a lovely luscious cardi!! and your little dress with the granny pocket is too cute! Loved the comment about the valentines granny ;-) xx
ReplyDeleteLoving the look of your new cardi. I am being drawn to the shades of grey/silver which I suddenly seem to "seeing" everywhere or is it just my attention being drawn to them
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress Kate, one of my favourites you've done so far!! And esp love you are crocheting again, I think its cause I can't knit anything useful that I don't love knitty stuff!! Hope things are drying out down there for you guys.
ReplyDeleteLove your dress. Adore the idea of the granny square pocket... would you mind if I made a poeket from a granny square too???
ReplyDeletehope you found some snatched moments. love your projects. the dress is divine

ReplyDeletemay have to snatch a few moments with you & Beck sometime in the next couple of weeks, let me now what days are definitely a no go.
ReplyDeletemiss your smile ♥
It is so hot here I cannot even think about touching wool- although ballet and swimming do provide important - have to sit still and be quiet moments when I could be actually doing something rather than playing with the iphone.
ReplyDeleteWe sound similar this wek - I feel like the only time I have had to craft has been stolen and should be doing something else (and really should not be on the computer:)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend - think that we are heading camping:)
i love your first line, this school stuff is full on, think i may need a pair of needles.
ReplyDeleteooh, I'm loving the snatches of time too, in different ways: waiting for toast - stack dishwasher, waiting for phone call - read blogs, makes me feel so much more productive!

ReplyDeleteLovely creative space Kate - at least I'm not the only "weird" mum crocheting at a kids class :)
ReplyDeleteYour little smocks look great with the pockets - lovely to see darkside of a single hook appearing ;)
And the grey shadings of your cardi are wonderful, beats a flat colour hands down.
*cues spooky music*
ReplyDeleteOkay... so. I admired your lovely pictures of things to be grateful for in my reader, while going about my business & clicking other blogs to comment on, not because I didn't think this post was comment-worthy, but because I didn't have anything particularly profound to say & I knew you would already have a multitude of people gushing over everything...
But then... there it was, open in a new tab all it's own, obviously requiring some action on my behalf.
Odd, oui?
Your dresses are so insanely gorgeous. I'd love one in my size please... So adorable. Pruxxx
