Vintage Rose Potholder.

The other night while looking at pretty pictures of crochet on the internet I found the pattern for this Vintage Rose Potholder. I quickly made it up and am thrilled with how it turned out.

But what next?
I could make a whole lot more pot holders and hang them on the wall in a lovely display, or I could make something really functional and practical.

The functional and practical won.

Jazzy is having a birthday on Thursday and considering how much time I am anticipating will be spent in waiting rooms this week, I might even get it finished by then.

Can you guess what it is going to be?
Probably a bit early for that.

Have you entered my giveaway yet?

I hope your Monday is a funday.

  1. What a beautiful potholder - you should definitely make some more for a display!

  2. Oh it is gorgeous Kate. I would use that for my teapot when I have scones I think. I cant guess what the pink is but I will be excited to see it finished.

  3. Are you going to sell those pot holders? I would love to buy one for my mum, it's so sweet. Can't guess what J's present will be...more clues? xo

  4. A washcloth? Sorry, have washcloths on the brain at the moment ;-) I do LOVE the pot-holder!

  5. LOVING all your crotchet!!!!! Sounds like a great book - I'd like to read your mum's book too -

  6. A skirt?
What happened to the other skirt/dress BTW? did it become something else

  7. That is just great, I love it!
Nanna style is definately the go.

  8. Love tthe pot holder, especially the colours you used... Could the pink thing be a dress or skirt, maybe???? Can't wat to see what it is either way..

    Take Care
    Jodie :)
