What's in your bag.

This morning after my pilates class I was rummaging around in my bag for some money to pay when it occurred to me how much crap I carry around. Oh my goodness, so much crap!

Then I came home and started to sort through it when it occurred to me how pretty all that crap would look all laid out in a photo and how it probably is a moment in time worth documenting.

So here it is. All my crap laid out for the world to see. The only things I edited out are my current knitting pattern (too much paper), a carrot (it had seen better days), my phone (needed for a scrabble move), my diary and a pair of little undies.

So this is what's there from top left; My sunnies, Jazzy's sunnies, water bottle, current knitting project, crochet hook pen, Pepper's sunnies, socks for pilates.
Next row from left; sample face creams, tape measure, spare circular needles, a button, pin tin, purse, wool band, sewing machine needles.
Bottom row from left; bias binding, double pointed knitting needles, a teaspoon, a texta, a hair choppy, another texta, some buttons, a head band, soy sauce, hair elastics, tweezers, coins, face cream, big button, sewing kit, crayons.

Whew!

You wanna play too? You know you do. Don't be shy, I've shown you mine... Why don't you empty it, lay it all out, take a pic and then pop back here and put in your link so we can all have a look.

I hope your Monday is a funday.

See ya. X

  1. I don't think I could fit half of that into my handbag. Especially my knitting. My bag just wouldn't cope!

  4. I just took apart my bad anticipating fun weird things and was quite disgusted with how boring it was. Might have something to do with the fact I just changed handbags last week. I'll still do a post to show you but yeah, I think it's boring.

  8. Not a bad lot for a crafter. I tend to have loads of old dockets and used tissues. Not a good look. Cherrie

  9. Lol, you had a carrot in your bag!!!
I was just laughing today at the difference my bag contents are now. My bag just used to have the essentials - purse, phone, glasses, keys & lippy.
Now my purse has the above said items as well as 2 nappies, nappy sacks, nappy change cloth, 2 face washers, full baby bottle & icepack to keep it cool, emergency pacifier!!! BUT no carrot!!

  17. I've posted mine and linked up - I think I have more things but they're smaller, and less crafty. I'm a quilter though, and I do it all on the machine, which I definitely couldn't fit in my bag.

I think you should show us a photo of your bag too.

  20. I'm nervous of the day when I can't use the pram to carry around my bag. It's heavy enough to put my neck out regularly if carried for extended periods. A girls got to be prepared!

  23. ba HA!! I have much the same problem, I call my bag (and every bag I've ever had) my 'angry bag' cause every time i try to find anything, it makes me angry. I have developed a gravitational shuffle however - if you give it a little flick and tossle, everything falls to the bottom in a relatively gravitatious manner, ordered by size and object obscurity -and funnily, you can always find a hair-band or lip balm in this manner. I kid you not! go on, give it a go.

Secretly, my husbands wallet is worse. There are receipts in there from coffee he bought over a year ago.
